Sum of two numbers

Age range 8 - 11 Key Stage 2
These activities are probably most suitable for children in Years 4, 5 and 6, but some could be used with older or younger pupils.
The worksheets can be used to reinforce the number work.

Worksheets

The worksheet creator enables you to produce an almost infinite(!) number of worksheets. Click on "new worksheet" and the numbers will change. Print the worksheet when you are happy with the numbers generated. An answer sheet and a pupil question sheet (without answers!) will be printed. PC users can click the right button on their mouse to go forward or back through the pages of the worksheet.

Bug race games

A collection of two player games designed to reinforce number facts.

The games could be played between two individuals or two groups of children. The aim of the game is to answer the questions correctly; every correct answer moves your bug forward. The first to cross the finishing line is the winner.

Bug race 1 Sum of two numbers (10 to 50)
Bug race 2 Sum of two numbers (30 to 130)
Bug race 3 Sum of any two numbers
